"Let the Church Rise" contains original music flowing out of this multi-cultural, missions-minded church pastored by Larry Stockstill. The project features Stockstill's son, Jonathan, who serves as Bethany's worship leader and who wrote or co-wrote all 12 of the album's songs.

The title song for the album, which was co-written with Israel Houghton prior to Hurricane Katrina, has become a prophetic word for Bethany and believers worldwide.  The song encourages the Church to "rise from the ashes" and "move with His compassion."
